Before I get started with this post let me first say I do believe that we need time to relax and enjoy time with friends and family and sometimes just time to sit and reflect and meditate on Gods word. However, I also believe that if we truly love our fellow man and God we would make time to truly show it.
It is so easy to get caught up in the things of this world but we need always to remember these are just temporary. Our goal is to reach heaven when the time comes. Our duty while here is to teach and help others do the same.
I am sure you remember the words Mar_16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
I wonder from time to time do we really heed this command to GO? Do you Make time for this or do you just wait for an opportunity to arise? I know I do not Go as I should and that is just a fact. I am learning as I get older just how important that little word GO is. Friends God never said sit here and wait till someone asks you. He has told us to be ready to give an answer. 1Pe_3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
It is strange those who would spread lies and deceive others through denominational error Go, they believe so strongly in their lies and error that some even still go door to door seeking those they might deceive. While it looks like we who have the truth remain huddled in our little buildings waiting for one to come in and ask.
Are we persecuted like those of the first century? NO, we are not. Yet they went everywhere preaching and teaching the Gospel. Act 8:3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Act 8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
We sit and wonder how can so many people be so easily fooled into believing denominational error and follow those who teach it straight into hell. I will tell you why and it is real simple……. They GO…. I have seen people all over that at the drop of a hat will proclaim how Jesus changed their lives and how God has moved them to tell everyone about Jesus and how faith is all that is needed to be saved. These folks go out with their lies and deceptions into a world of hungry listeners while we sit idle wondering how others could believe such nonsense.
When we do get (Not Make) but get the chance to tell these folks the truth we wonder why won't they listen and believe. It is because we let the enemy get there first, it is just that simple.
I am as guilty of this as anyone, I should be and am ashamed for not Going like I should. I have to ask myself how many of those lost souls could I have prevented? Folks it is PAST time that we GO! It is time we started MAKING the time and putting forth the effort to bring others back to God or too God for the first time.
How many souls must be lost before we act on Gods command?
