It is sad to say that many who believe they are going to have a home in heave after judgment will actually be spending eternity in hell.
Jesus our Lord even said so Himself…… Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Mat 7:20-23)
Jesus also gave the reason why many are going to miss salvation and heaven This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mat 15:8-9)
Man has forgotten to fear God and His justice. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Pro_1:7)
Too many people today have become comfortable sitting in their seats listening to some preacher expound from the pulpit how loving God is and how merciful and caring God is. Folks have allowed themselves to be lulled into a false sense of security. Many assemblies have become like the church at Laodicea And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Rev 3:14-16)
Have we forgotten also the words of the Hebrew writer? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Heb 10:30-31)
We must all ask ourselves will we allow false doctrines and practices to continue among us? Will we content ourselves with only being taught part of the Gospel? Are we going to sit in our seats and do nothing more to further the Lord's work? Will we miss heaven because we did not GO? And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mar 16:15-16)
We live in an age of wanton disregard for the truth. We see it in all the false doctrines being taught today. Yet, will we be numbered among those who get to heaven if we fail to heed the whole counsel of God?
Think about it……………..
